Sad Farewell

Today I represented my Grandma at the funeral of her eldest friend.

They first met when they started work at Rubery Owens just before the outbreak of Worldwar 2, and had been friends for 74 yrs.

Nan will now fly the flag for oldies for the both of them, and hopefully receive the "Card" from the Queen that they both had hoped to get.
