I've been on a little blip holiday.

When I started this back in January I had originally intended to do a 365 challenge to help me use my camera a little bit more, but I found that recently I wasn't actually using my camera at all and was relying on my phone to get my blip each day.

That may not have been so bad if I was actually using my camera on weekends, but the whole thing had become a little bit of a chore and had put me off wanting to go out and take "proper" pictures.

I'm now going to try and just get an image a week (or more if time permits), using my proper camera to make sure that I keep trying to improve my photography skills. I'm still checking the site each day though, as I still love the concept and really enjoy looking at the fantastic images all of the blippers produce!

Anyway, today was my first day with my new wide angle lens, which was a little treat to myself! I popped along to the local beach to see if there was anything interesting about and came across this muhassive piece of driftwood lodged firmly on the sand.
