Kilchattan Bay

The club took the ferry over to Bute today and we walked a circular route from Kilchattan Bay, taking in the ruins of St. Blane's church and monastery. Weather was a bit dull at times, but the scenery is stunning, with views from Bute to the hills of Arran, and there was a yacht race taking place in the sea between the islands which was lovely to watch. Had a nice hour in Rothesay at the end of the walk, before taking the ferry back to Wemyss Bay and home. Great day out.
