I can say I have never queued that long for anything in my life before - 1 hr and approx 30-40 minutes of my life - all for a 5 minute 'submarine' trip , a couple of these intriguing tanks, a tiny touch pool and a very large lego Atlantis shop.

But even given the queuing (and this was the worst ride queue) the boys had a whale of a time 'OMG' 'Awesome' 'Perfect' were just some of the words they used to describe the day.

One of the highlights for me was Miniland, with scale Buckingham Palace, St Pauls, Stonehenge, Space shuttle, Angel of the North, ..... to name just a few - hubby had lost the will to live by this point - amusement parks not being top of either of our lists of places to spend the day to be honest - so me and the boys ran around going 'wow' and 'can you see ....?' - They found the tiny tardis next to the London Authority building, saw the 'wobbly bridge' off Harry Potter - I do soooo love Lego.
