Lazy Day

I had the day off so the dog and I went outside so that I could sit in the shade, trying to hide from the bugs and the sun's rays reading books and she could walk around the yard, eat a few sticks, chase a few bugs and smell the flowers... well, the herbs in the herb garden. I think she enjoyed the "outdoor time" more than I did.

I enjoyed the "reading time" though. I flipped through Lost Voices by Sarah Porter (mermaids!), She Walks in Beauty by Caroline Kennedy (poetry collection), A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin (intriguing) and The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson (♥).
