Self Portrait
This is actually a picture of my good self, getting my Incredible Hulk on and about to explode - all thanks to the good people at Natwest Bank.
They've been sporadically freezing my debit card since my trip began back in March, a security measure that kicks in when 'unusual activity' is detected. In a piece of sheer bank-running genius, the card freezing is done by an automated computer system rather than a human being. So no matter how many times I call them and shout/swear/laugh/cry/bleed from my ears, explaining that I'm travelling around, it makes no difference. They simply ask security questions, ask me if all the times my card was used were me, then unfreeze it apologetically.
Shatwest Bank. Making lives more difficult since 1968.
