I had purchased this model in Alaska at an annual trade show in Anchorage. It was my impression this was made by craftsmen from the state, but I later found out that this was made in the Philippines. Kind of bummed, since I like supporting the local economy and a small business. Hopefully the money spent went towards someone's livelihood.
