Another Beautiful Day

Nice doggie, please don't bite

I'M BACK from a few, very beautiful days in Kaikoura.Stayed with friends Martha and Rob.They have accomodation available if anyone is wondering where to stay when they go through Kaikoura.
Its called "the clifftop". A magical setting.I'll have some photos shortly.
Its Fathers Day today, yippee, little buggers to skype tonight -should be fun.

Its also the anniversary of our first earthquake. What a year its been.
7,000 at least.still not over,bugger.
I'm still here to write this blip. You could be dead by the hand of the quake itself .You could be dead from shock like a lot of elderly did early on.You could be on your way to Auckland,Australia or anywhere percieved safe.
Or you could be from RICCARTON,or somewhere else west, south or north.

I awoke this morning to beautiful sunshine and the sound of the Radio NZ national program reading out an email from some woman who was sick to death hearing about the rescillience and character of Cantabrians.Sick to death about hearing about the friggn earthquake.
It wasn't just taking the mickey out, like ,when, say Auckland recieved some snow recently. It was just downright malicious.
Like WTF?
EXCUSE US!!!! for still breathing.
Todays photo is in memory of 'her' and the media frenzy.

And just to remind us who's boss,we just had a wonderful reminder, heart still pumping, sick of this!!!
Wow,it was only a 4.4. 7 kms deep. The ground ain't what it used to be, either am I ,I guess.
First thing you do, is check the ground for grey water, then get the cars to high ground, if there is.
