Packing

We are busy packing for our UK trip! Gosh you need a lot of stuff when 4 dogs and one person are going to be away for 2 weeks!

The grey bag on the right is costumes for our HTM Show, training gear and CDs with our music. The black suitcase behind the grey one is presents for all our friends that we will be visiting. The suitcase Biscuit is lying on is my clothes. The black bag in front of Hero is the stuff I need for the night on the ferry. Then there is a cooler bag with British flags on for our dinner on the ferry, there is a bag of food for Beat and Biscuit, who eat special food. Whisper and Hero will be sharing a big 20 kg. bag of food with Helle's 3 dogs. Then we have our ghettoblaster so that we can train our routines, our props and stuff that I need for the dogs on the ferry. There are costume bags in the background. I still need the blankets that I bring to cover up the dogs' crates to give them some peace and quiet when they need that, water bowls and crates...

Hero has been very anxious and in my face since I started packing. He is only a year old and have not been on any of these 'big journeys' yet, so I think he doesn't quite understand what is going on and what it is all about. The others are sleeping. They have travelled so many times to so many different countries and it is just part of life to them. It doesn't excite them until we are actually ready to go. I am sure Hero will feel better tomorrow, once he realizes that he is coming too this time.
