Glencorse morning

Went for a walk from Flotterstone round part of Glencorse this morning. Beautiful weather and some great photo opportunities. Couldn't decide initially what to put on blip as there were some nice shots of a heron standing guard. Also couldn't decide between the mono and colour versions of this shot but thought on balance this had more impact (although the blues and greens on the colour version were nice.) The colour version is here. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
