The Haven and The Sisters

The first full day of the walking weekend arrived and we headed over the South Downs towards Seaford from Alfriston. The sun was warm and the breeze light, but mist was forecast and it never cleared from the coast.

The last time I was here, the sun was shining, the skies blue and the water shimmering in the sunlight. That was April 2010, but the photo didn't make it to blip land.

The return walk along the Cuckmere River was pleasant, the sun came back out, it was warm and the cider chilled. Some days are just not meant to be for photography I guess. We'll have to return one day!
