An urban landscape
I've often wanted to blip the Seafield Recycling facility (and its many rows of bins) and the creation of groups has given me a good reason to. For this is surely an archetypal "urban landscape" with a bit of the more rural stuff thrown in for good measure, behind. It's not an especially good photograph, demonstrating the limits of the Arc, but the point is well made, I think.
We seem to spend the entire weekend doing domestic stuff. Recycling. Purchasing breadbins, bread boards and new drying racks for laundry. Running to the supermarket. I wonder where interesting life has gone.
There are various things we took for recycling that ended up in landfill. Also, where can one recycle a sleeping bag - old but perfectly serviceable - for use by the homeless, or those who need such a thing, in Edinburgh? Does anyone know?
