Circumzenithal arc

This splendid circumzenithal arc presented itself over my 
head most inconveniently when I exited from the supermarket
with bags of food. I had to run home with all the bags and get 
my camera to catch it before it vanished. I wussed out of using
the D3100 as I know with the compact how to get the settings 
I want quickly!

A circumzenithal arc is similar to a rainbow except that the 
suns light is refracted through ice crystals in the clouds 
rather than through raindrops. I posted one here 
complete with sundog a few months ago but I think I see 
them more often than I manage to photograph them.
