Marina Man

Later this afternoon I headed down to the marina with the idea that I'd like to get a sun-going-down-over-boats kind of shot.

The sun went down......
The boats were left in total shadow..........
Blah!!!!

Then this fellow came along and we chatted for a while. Turns out he's one of the few residents who live on a boat in the marina. Couldn't help thinking that that would be a very nice lifestyle for a while - tho' I'd probably suffer too much from the cold and damp.

Anyway, he was happy for me to take a few pics of him.

I liked this one which has a kind of wistful look to it. I also like the way the sun is lighting part of his face.
