130th Anniversary.

130 years ago someone added their initials to this door at Morton Castle.
Why is it that very old graffiti is somehow acceptable and new graffiti isn't. Some of the names on this door were carved well over 100 years ago and that makes it very interesting.
But that pales into insignificance when you consider that in the 12th century the vikings defaced Maeshowe in Orkney!
We did not add our names in celebration!
