Mystery red flower.
Apologies blippers, for the quality of this picture, I had the ISO set too high. I was torn between the many bees visiting our Virginia Creeper, and this red clover looking type flower. The red flower won. I am fairly certain that this is not a clover, because the leaf from the plant makes it look like an alpine type plant. I saw it when taking Maggie the Jack Russell for her constitutional. I am hoping that someone out there in blipland, will be able to let me know. The bees caused Mrs.G a great deal of discomfort. Her hearing is not as battered as a former boilermaker, and that was the first thing that she noticed, the sound. When I put my soon to be redundant hearing aid, (BAHA/ titanium implant on Tuesday) I also could hear the considerable humming. I would estimate that there were about 50 something bees, taking the pollen from the Virginia Creeper. This doesn't look that interesting, but interesting enough to the bees. The little blighters were full of pollen on their knee sacs, but Mrs.g was concerned in case it was a swarm. She rang a local beekeeper, who assured her that everything would be O.K. I have managed to secure a new job, subject to the security and financial checks. I have been through this so many times before, but it is rather like an MOT now, only good on the day of issue as it were. I havent heard yet from the other job where I thought the interview went rather well. They of course might also be doing the security thing, we did fill in the forms after the interview, asking permission to do the checks should we be successful. No news is good news.
Adios.
