This weekend I had a VIP experience of Newcastle courtesy of work with four of my amazing friends.

First class travel, amazing food, champagne, sambucca, drag queens....

But the most amazing thing about this weekend was the hotel. Brand new, The Sandman, doesn't officially open it's doors until Tuesday so we were the first through the door.

The rooms and decor was lush and the dressing gowns and Green and Blacks chocolate, which was left on out bed, was most welcome after a booze night out.

Newcastle, you were amazing.
