A hint at Irvine's history

The Sunday trip to swimming lessons took us close by here, and I'd spotted this building last weekend.

This shot shows one of the original buildings down by Irvine harbour, close to the Scottish Maritime Museum.

It's a lovely area, where new builds have been sensitively designed to fit in with the older cottages and surrounds. Great architecture, if that's your bag.
