Quiet Sunday

Dragged myself out of bed at 9.00 this morning. I feel washed out - a remnant, I suspect, of the shingles episode of a few years back. It'll pass.

Drove the back road to St Boswells where we took refreshments at the Main Street Trading Company (a very pleasant book shop / cafe) and then headed on down to the Walled Garden near Ancrum for sandwiches and ginger beer. Yep, ginger beer. The weather was lovely late summer warm - and a cricket match was taking place at St Boswells. A quiet, but very, very pleasant Sunday.
