Hearing Dog for Deaf People.

I spent some time sorting books today in the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People charity shop. My latest project. A thoroughly enjoyable one too. Keep finding the most amazing books.

This is Jo, her mistress works in the shop on a regular basis. She told me that the dog does so much for her that she wouldn't know what to do without her. Jo is the nicest sweetest dog, she doesn't bark or whine at all, but is trained to touch knees and hands with her nose to attract attention.

It is nice to see where the money goes. It hardly seems a charity, more a social service.
