Summer's End

Through to the Weej to support Mrs AB in the Great Scottish Run. Whilst she sprinted round, I took the bairns to the Botanics where we discovered a fascinating exhibition of Bonsai trees in the Kibble Palace (behind the full size tree). After a picnic in the Children's garden inside a fantastic willow house thing, we headed over to Glasgow Green and found poor Mrs AB lamenting a poor performance, her personal worst.

Oh well, at least it was a nice day.

From the outside looking in, the Great Scottish Run is so much better than the Edinburgh Marathon festival. It all seems more professional and well organised.
