New rules

There are, apparently, new rules that say so long as at least one part of your car is touching a driveway the rest of it can be left wherever you like. The fact that there are families and small children around here who, and call me old fashioned, need to use the pavement to avoid walking on the road and being in the way of traffic doesn't seem to be as important as parking as close as possible to the house you are visiting. This isn't a rare act of carefree parking around these parts; this seems to almost be the norm.
