Bike ride

One of the things you should do on Vlieland is rent a bike and cycle to the Posthuys, the place where the mail used to arrive from the main land. We decided to do it differently this time and rent a tandem bike. It takes some getting used to, but eventually we were both very comfortable with J. at the handle and me just pushing the pedals. (I assure you this isn't quite representative of our relationship...)

Liked this one because of the (again unknown) wild flowers/plants and the weird perspective: this is the Wadden dyke and I was looking down a slope into the sea.
