Animal Party

Another day, another party. Kerr has a better social life than me and he's not even 2 yet!

Today was his friend O's party. Kerr still a bit miserable and coughing quite a lot but I had already told him there would be a bouncy castle so he was very keen to go to the party. It turned out that the bouncy castle was much too boisterous for the little ones - lots of older very excited girls leaping everywhere - scary! Kerr enjoyed playing with balloons and especially loved the animals. There was a mini zoo at the party (!) with a lady showing the children the animals.

We saw (and stroked / held) a rat, a mouse, a chicken, a duck, a snake (boa constrictor), lizards, tarantula, a huge rabbit, a very cute guinea pig, a frog, a toad, a cockroach (though this might have been food for one of the animals?!), and these HUGE snails. Very exciting for a 2nd birthday party!

Early night for Kerr tonight, topped up with Calpol again. I think I might have to take him to the docs tomorrow to get his chest sounded.
