I too am outraged

Paraphrased from Wikipedia (which we all know is the Gospel truth; just ask the people at St. Kentigern's Academy in Blackburn)...

The 15-M Movement are a series of demonstrations in Spain that were started on 15 May with an initial call in 58 Spanish cities. The series of protests demands a radical change in Spanish politics, as protesters do not consider themselves to be represented by any traditional party nor favoured by the measures approved by politicians. Even though protesters form a heterogeneous and ambiguous group, they share a strong rejection of unemployement, welfare cuts, Spanish politicians, the current two-party system in Spain between the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party and the People's Party, as well as the current political system, capitalism, banks and bankers, political corruption and firmly support what they call basic rights: home, work, culture, health and education.

So, on to the artwork itself...

The writing on the house says, "Yo tambien toi indignat", which doesn't seem to be an entirely Spanish phrase (it may be Catalan, as the photo was taken in Mallorca) but it seems similar to the phrase, "Yo tambien estoy indignado", which roughly translates as, "I too am outraged". This would fit with the overall message of 15-M.

I never found out if the owner of the house commissioned this work or came home to find it sprawled across his house. Maybe he found the 15-M drawn on his house and that is why he was outraged! Anyone who knows more, or who can correct anything I have said above, please feel free to comment.
