Lake Kachess

We returned to the lake I'd gone to with my good friend KB a couple weeks ago! Today we went with some longtime Washington friends. I used to drive bus with C and her husband was a postal worker. He's retired now and she has been doing substitute teaching since quitting bus driving almost 20 years ago.

We took the dogs out walking before we left for the lake. It was a gorgeous day and I braved the mountain cold waters and enjoyed wearing my "bobble waist band " and using my feet to paddle all around. Good exercise for them knees! A lovely day with dear friends, good picnic food and games of Farkel!
