Ready, Steady.......

......cue music!

So this is the moment just before Megan sets off approx. 100,000 fireworks at Edinburgh Castle and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra treat us to some really great music (even Connor said at the end that he enjoyed the music.......now that really is a big deal).

We had went out for some dinner before hand and never made our way over to the venue until about 30 mins before kick-off. Lets just say it was a tad busy. They estimated that 250,000 people crammed into the city to watch the display. Talking of display's, Megan was on the radio (repeat of her winning the competition), she was announced to the crowd by the host (for which she received a really nice round of applause) and finally was broadcast on the big screens pressing the button! She was in her element!

So all round a great weekend and experience. Oh plus the rain held of until the very last minute.
