Goodby summer, hello traffic hell

The first Monday back to work in September is always like this. It's as if everyone is back at work on the same day. For the past few weeks even the traffic control lights regulating the flow onto my junction of the M62 have been switched off. It's been a clear run all the way. Suddenly it's 3 lanes at a 5mph crawl. And that's when it's actually moving. It will only get worse now until the Spring. Welcome back to the ratrace.
