Fairy Falls

Went for a bush walk today in the Waitakere Ranges with some friends. We did this loop walk that didn't really end up being a loop to this waterfall called Fairy Falls. It was a good as walk! The path was overgrown with trees everywhere and it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. To me it was just idyllic and peaceful. It was so simple, with the trees and the path, wish I could go there more often and just spend hours there.

Walked for about 3 hours, we took a wrong path and ended up on the road and walked the last half a kilometre along it. Afterwards a couple of friends stayed at mine for dinner, had a pretty interesting conversation afterwards!
