They're Back!

Great, driving home tonight and I saw two of these wound together in the middle of the road. We're only just into Spring and we've got snakes already, looks like it's going to be a bad year.

By the time I stopped the car they had unwound from their "passionate embrace" and one had taken off for some privacy I guess. This one was content to pose for a photo but started to get a little aggressive and flatten out its head as a threat.

I had one of those moments like when I was snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef taking some photos and I took off after a shark to get a closer shot, you know.... one of those "hang on, what am I doing?" moments!
