Iced Coffee
Everyone has the basic needs to survive. Air, water, food, and sex.
I don't necessarily have one of those for quite a while now, but for me there's another absolute necessity in order to survive. That is iced coffee.
I never cared much for coffee for most of my life, but in the last few year I seeked to earn A's in classes and I knew I couldn't go through a day without a good amount of energy. I began drinking iced coffee, and it was something of a super-power you gain after consuming something (like Popeye with spinach). I would go from low-motivation slump to near-hyperactivity within 15 minutes. I get so much energetic that it actually changed my personality to a much better side of me. I get a lot of things done this way.
It was a big deal because I've spent the last 4 years (before discovery of coffee) motivational depressed and it really affected my school performance, and even in social life, from my senior year through early 4th year of college.
I try to drink iced coffee daily, but I found little need for it this school year because it was so frickin' easy, I hardly ever had to give effort to earn an A. But it will become a daily thing this coming fall at UA.
Fun fact: iced coffee contains more caffiene than hot coffee, because the coffee beans loses some caffiene during roasting or heating, while ice/coldness preserves them.
