Far too young.

It was M's first day at school today. ( My youngest granddaughter) She only turned 3 in August and looked so tiny in her school uniform as she strode down the drive with Mummy and Daddy. Saying that; there wasn't a backward glance as she rushed in, took off her coat and immediately went into an adjoining room with one of the Classroom Assistants, whilst we spoke to her teachers. As we left she was busy painting a picture and just shouted 'Bye!'
The afternoon went very quickly ( she's only going for half a day) and she came home with her brother and sister, pleased as punch to be ' like them.' I suppose she's ready, but it was quite heartbreaking :(
