At Rishikesh
Sunday morning, we reached the station just before the group could miss another bus to Rishikesh. The journey was long on the bus, but at the same time the driver was adamant driving away everyone on his way. There were a couple of ladies sharing a seat, who seemed to have lost the state - called rest. If they were not chatting, they were singing hymns. I did wonder what on earth could make some people jabber so much, at one point I thought they might even be counting their breath or other moves and telling it to the other.
We reached the point of destination, and met, if I could say so, the other bunch of people. For the rest of the evening, as we had time in our hands we went out on a couple of bridges which were religiously called as Laxman and Ram Jhula.
The evening wind made it pleasant to walk on the river bridge, after a good dinner at a popular joint which we were able to locate.
