Home time!

It seemed like a very long day today - only got 3 hours sleep which didn't help.

That was followed by me not realising that some of the schools in Birmingham went back today, plus roadworks with 3-way traffic control on the main route in (gridlock!) which meant that I left home at 7.25 am but didn't get to work till 9.10 am.

Apart from that it wasn't too bad a day, not too many emails and I got a few things sorted out. One of the office team was back from her holiday so we had Spanish biscuits - got to love these office traditions, they all involve food!

Left at 6.15 pm to try and avoid some of the traffic, usual idiots on the road but no delays. I really need to leave earlier tomorrow morning though, the rest of the schools are back tomorrow so the traffic will be horrendous. It's been great over the summer holidays, much less stressful!

This is a photo of the lovely staircase I walk down to get back out to the car park - it's very ugly and looks a bit like the sort of thing you find in a multi-storey car park. No customers get to see this bit so there's no carpet!

Must just say how overwhelmed I was with all the comments and congratulations on my 365th blip yesterday, really made my day, especially making the Spotlight page - I wasn't expecting that!
