Hoop Dancer

On the way to Santa Fe we stopped at the Kewa Pueblo (renamed Santo Domingo by the Spanish conquerors). For the first time we managed to make it to their annual arts festival. It was a beautiful day to visit with Native American artists from all around the state. This is a plains Indian hoop dancer from one of the more northern rectangular states.
