Arcade Fire

Great night out at Arcade Fire. A weird gig in that there is no alcohol (all hail the hipflask!) that seemed initially very tame, even referenced by the band! But it reached required crescendo eventually and was a small price to pay for a great gig with a stunning backdrop.

We were chummed by a great bunch of people but mainly it was a wonderful relief for me and Andy to be doing something fun together as opposed to maintaining the stoic 'if we buckle down we will conquer' attitude that has prevailed since the 'renovation' to the house.

Chinks of light and fun means we must be getting close!
