Straw Henge

I love the way the early morning sun plays on the large straw bales, so I set off this morning with a very different image in mind. But the architectural feel to this won me over.

Oh well, maybe another time.

I also saw a kestrel resting on the top of a bale and got one very poor shot of it before it flew away. I'm not sure if it was sun bathing or using the bale as a vantage point to save it from having to hover!
