Fungus-covered log

Today was Labor Day - signifies the end of summer, and it certainly felt like the end of summer today. After our record high of 100F on Saturday, the temperature today struggled to reach the upper 60s - the highest we saw on our home outdoor thermometer was 65! Roger had some jobs to do in the yard, then late afternoon we went walking at Rowe Woods. I had to wear a sweatshirt - probably for the first time since we left England at the end of May! It was a grey dreary day, and blip opportunities were few, so this fungus-covered log is the best I could come up with today!
