The Call to Duty
Living opposite a volunteer fire station means there's plenty of opportunity to see action. I have to say that it would be hard to find a member of our local community who doesn't do a head count mentally, when the siren goes off. Unfortunately there's not so many fires, but an absolutely horrific amount of traffic accidents, that our lovely volunteers end up on the scene of.
The siren had just gone off when I grabbed the camera. Light isn't great, as it is setting sun behind the fire station. But I like the movement in this shot.
Thanks Beachlands Volunteer Firemen, you guys do a job that I couldn't do.
