Ladybird books.

Trisha B mentioned in her journal that she had been buying old Ladybird books on e bay. This gave me an idea for a rainy day blip.This assortment is from our three's collection.They have been well read and some are downright tatty but much loved books. The illustrations now are a bit old fashioned but very colourful.

The outstanding favourite was 'Puppies and Kittens'. I remember all three could recite this book by heart probably before they could actually read properly.Why? I'm afraid , even then, this household was spaniel mad ( and still is!!) Blippers......you seem surprised ?:) :)

Hopefully soon we will be reading them to Euan and he will enjoy them as much as his Mum, Auntie Fifi and Uncle Andy. I'm sure 'Puppies and Kittens' will be a favourite of his too because there is an Isla featured in it!
