Sucking & Coughing

This image is a tribute to Public Libraries and to Alan Fletcher for his book called "Picturing and Poeting".

It is a real treat to draw out a book that I can scan in the hope of being inspired. Alan Fletcher doesn't disappoint. This image is a copy of an idea he illustrates on page 37.

It is a topical image as I am sucking throat sweets to ease the coughing.
