Exposure using a Grey Card

Firstly, thank you all for the fantastic comments on the cupcakes. Sounds like the kids enjoyed them and the teacher too.

I've started working on my assignments. Only really got tomorrow left as I must email them on Thursday. Busy, busy!!

This is for an exposure assignment using a grey card. We had to balance the light meter without the grey card and take a photo and then do it with a grey card. What a difference! I'm struggling with the black background and a dark object, I'm sure it will all come together tomorrow.

I've managed to loan a better, okay, make that much better tripod from a colleague of hubbies for my photographic outing on Thursday and decided against hiring a lens (really, really want to save for the photo expo in October) so I'm hoping my 'kit' lenses and my 50mm will serve me well. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time
