A little frayed around the edges.

Late night last night on account of finding and wrapping Alice's birthday presents for her for today. (Some of them were bought ages ago and couple that with a house move it was an interesting experience).

My little girl is five now and I feel bemused by where those five years have gone. They always say that as you get older time speeds up and in this instance I have to agree. it doesn't seem that long ago that she was not the independent little girl she is today.

I just wish there was some way that I could slow it down so that I can enjoy those moments a little longer. Like last nights little gem, "Daddy do you think my legs are bigger now that I am nearly five?"
