Sailing, alone.

Another lovely day, so after doing our Chores, L and I took ourselves off to the Harbour and watched the boats. In my Blip on the 1st May I said about someone who was drowned, while sailing alone. well his body was found this morning, over a mile away. Despite that, this guy was alone, no Life jacket, no towed float, no safety line when he went forward to set the Spinnaker. If he had gone overboard the boat would have sailed away and left him, about 300 metres from shore. No chance ! The small yellow boats in the background are Pedallos, each with 5 youngsters , also no Life Jackets, how often does it need to happen before steps are taken ??
