Jasmine back to school!

The first child back to Secondary today. Now in year 8 and got it all going on. This morning nerves and hormones got the better of her. Her trousers didn't fit (despite asking many a time if they were ok and being told every time that they were ok); She felt fat; She looked a mess; She didn't know which tutor room she was in ....and so the rant continued. It was all my fault of course. I'd like to point out that she did have a new blazer, shoes, trainers and bag. I had also tried to get her some trousers but with no joy. Anyway at dinner time I went out and got new trousers!

She came back happier tonight as she had a great day, has a lovely new tutor, enjoyed her lessons and all her friends were pleased to see her and vice versa. So all is well. However, I didn't get the blame for it all going well. The joys of being a mother of a nearly teen!

Jaden had a trauma this morning as the childminder was having a Pirate theme day and the costume I had was no good. In 15 minutes I managed to create an outfit that he was happy with (very naff but job done). Got to work feeling very stressed after my two and their outbursts.

ICT training today at work, followed by class time. I'm ready for tomorrow ...bring on the kids!
