Bonkers for Conkers.............

I have always loved collecting conkers. As a young child, I would spend ages shuffling through the leaves , trying to find the windfalls . Dodging the sticks that were being thrown at the branches by the impatient kids. Waiting for them to drop naturally was fun, especially on windy days like today . I would go home with pockets filled , and treasure my find.
There are several Horse Chestnut trees just round the corner from where we live, so I decided to go and" play out " after my tea , all in the cause of blip you understand !
