Don't worry bee happy
I have been working my socks off in the garden today weeding and digging, it's very therapeutic. Andy beat me to trimming the pig hedge yesterday (a hedge which my Dad shaped like a large pig) but I had a good go at some other hedge/ bush/ plant things and they look quite tidy now.
Since Mum has taken on the role of chief bee keeper I have learnt a lot more about bees. Such as; they are very temperamental, you can only move them at night, they don't like to get too cold or too hot, and you can't do anything if it's raining! Tonight I finally succumbed to wearing a bee suit after 28 years of avoidance, they are not very flattering. A friend came to collect a hive of bees to start her own bee keeping and we got the hive all sealed and taped up for her. Despite wearing a veil Mum managed to get stung on the nose- ouch! She is being very brave about it but it looks sore.
Visas for 2 countries, travel insurance and Japan rail passes also sorted today. Think I'll put my feet up tomorrow.
