Endless

Today I found out that a lecturer from University died. She was not someone that I knew very well but we had worked together on courses, she had previously taught me a lot and was very good at helping me get my confidence up for teaching. She was an academic that always wanted to keep connected to patients. She recently got her PhD and had the ceremony at home as she was so ill.

I learnt of her death today. How lovely to have been able to affect people like she did and to have left a written piece of work for the world that will inform patient care.

As I have said on FaceBook tonight, people die, wisdom doesn't.
