Tin cans can't they?

What a morning! Woke up late and ran to wake the girls up and had to chivvy them along. They were understandably cross with me because they had missed a bit of Pokemon. I tried to worm my way out of it by explaining that the alarm on my phone didn't go off.

Jeanne wasn't having any of it."The only reason the alarm wouldn't go off is if YOU didn't set it mum"

She is correct of course. Got the girls to school in the nick of time then had a nightmare journey to work, rain plus roadworks meant a long wet wait for the bus.

Tidying the house tonight and I blipped my tin people. Old Xmas decorations that never got put away. Eve's reading book tonight was about the Wizard of Oz and I have promised her we would watch the film together soon.

Kate tradition dictates that my tin couple always have to be touching hands. It's the old romantic in me!

Wizard of Oz: As for you, my galvanized friend, you want a heart. You don't know how lucky you are not to have one. Hearts will never be practical until they can be made unbreakable.
