Black and shiny

SO has cancer. we are struggling to come to terms with it.
He loves black and shiny things.

BTW - I'm watching 'Possession' , I've read the book, its a double story of passionate love, one of which looks like it has to be denied (as he is a married man) the other flourishes, with the help of a bit of poetry. Its also a ddetective story, I enjoyed it anyway. Some scenes are set in Robin Hood's bay, at the very hotel SO and I were at a few weekends ago :)
